A pair of Venetian glass comports, with dragon supports, 20 cm high, and other similar glass (10) Condition report Report by JB Small light brown - with rubbed gilt decoration - pot 10 cm wide, 7 cm tall. Rubbing of note to the gilt with a few light scratches, no major damage or chips of note would appear present. Blue saucer dish 1: 7.5 cm wide, and approx. 10 cm. diameter. Again noticeable rubbing to gilt regions. A few bubbles can be observed in the glass, light scratching, no major damage of note. Blue saucer dish 2: 7.5 cm wide, and approx. 10 cm diameter. Similar condition with rubbing and light scratches. One minor nibble to exterior rim (sharp to the touch). There is an unfortunate internal crack/fracture to the base of the saucer, visible to the naked eye, however, it cannot be felt. Blue saucer dish 3: 7.5 cm wide, and approx. 10 cm diameter. Same height and dimensions. Again similar condition, wear to gilt, light scratching, no major chips of note. Pink Goblet: 24 cm high, including the dragon. Top section resembling a flower with a dragon attached. Again general wear, rather grubby, gilt sections rubbed. The centre section of the stem seems not central, off centre, however, there does not appear to be any signs of repair. Perhaps it was fired in this manner. Part of the dragon's wings feel sharp, however, there would not appear to be any signs of a break, neck intact. No other major damage of note would appear present. Candlestick with dragon centre section: 23 cm high. Light blue in colour with gilt decoration. Again gilt worn, general scratching and marks, rather grubby. The dragon's left foot resting on the ball, base is missing (one claw has been chipped off), rather sharp to the touch, otherwise no other major damage would appear present. Large blue bowl with two dragon handles: 17 cm high, including dragons and approx. 25 cm in diameter. Again general marks, wear, scratching and dirt, with rubbing to the gilt. Again one of the dragon handles is missing a claw from one foot, there is a vertical fracture within the glass running along the base of the bowl, around where the handle meets. This again is visible to the naked eye, but however cannot be felt with touch. A few bubbles can be observed inside the glass also. The claret style jug with dragon handle: 33 cm high. General wear, markings and rubbing to gilt again present. One side of the dragon's ear is missing, a few bubbles can be observed internally in the glass. The bottom rim which connects to the base is slightly wonky, suspect happened during firing. A couple of minor nibbles to the base. No other major damage of note would appear present. Large blue comport 1: 20 cm high, and approx. diameter 17 cm. No major damage of note would appear present. Comport 2: again similar condition. A few large bubbles of note in the top saucer section. A couple of chips are present to the dragon's claws clutching the ball, otherwise no other major damage of note would appear present Please see illustrations
