Good quality George III mahogany two-division sarcophagus-shaped tea caddy with carved decoration on hinged lid, enclosing two lidded canisters and Georgian cut glass sugar bowl, 21cm high x 33cm wide x 18cm deep CONDITION REPORT Scratches around the escutcheon, otherwise the exterior is in original good condition. Both canisters have veneer splitting and small repairs. One hinged lid is loose. Mixing bowl is not original

Some surface wear, a small amount of veneer cracking and fading. Both canister's lids come away from hinges. The sugar bowl container has been re-lined. Otherwise in good order

A large 19thC birds eye maple tea caddy, with crossbanding, the sarcophagus shaped cover inlaid with a tablet (now missing) internally fitted with a glass bowl, flanked by two lidded compartments, the inner lid lined with mirror glass, over a narrow full width drawer with turned handles, on ceramic compressed bun feet, 26.5cm wide and 26cm high.
