LOT OF SWEDISH ART GLASSincluding a globular green glass vase by Orrefors of internal ribbed form, etched to base 'Orrefors 1930 H.Z.Y 8' and painted E24.1983.2., 17cm high; also an Orrefors clear glass bottle, etched to base 'Orrefors HU 1790/1Z', 23cm high, another clear glass bottle, etched to base 'ofzm155', a Kosta Boda bowl, etched to base 'Kosta 241148-4(?)D81', and another glass vase, etched to base and painted E24.1983', 22cm high (5)
A 19th century glass rummer, with double opaque air twist stem. Height 18 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The glass is in generally good condition. There are several old surface scratches to the bowl. The most significant is approximately 1 cm in length and is vertical. There are no chips. Whilst the bowl and stem do not appear to have been detached from one another, there is no evidence of any glue etc., when the piece is viewed from the top there is discolouration and a filler/glue like substance where the stem attaches to the bowl. Perhaps this has been ground?
A Solian Ware eight piece fruit set, and a green glass lemonade set. CONDITION REPORT: The large bowl has a browned surface scratch to the base which runs for approximately 4 cm. This is not visible on the reverse. All other bowls are in good order. The lemonade set is in generally good condition. There are some very minor chips to the sharp edges of the bottom facets but these really are insubstantial and only visible with a magnifying glass.
A Lalique glass bowl, decorated with birds, etched script signature, diameter 23.5 cm, and a frosted glass Nasturtium bowl. CONDITION REPORT: The Lalique bowl is in generally very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. The accompanying nasturtium bowl is also in good order with only minor scratches to the interior surface and the underside of the base.
A small pair of Victorian silver bun-top peppers by Frederick Sibray and Job Frank Hall, London, 1888, chased with shells and foliate scrolls, 4.6 cm. high; a small French silver wine taster, bowl set with small ancient Roman coin, sides stamped with flowers, late19th/early 20th century; a Victorian silver magnifying glass frame by William Comyns, London, 1889, rim pierced and chased with putti amidst foliage, handle with conforming chasing (lacks glass lens), 22 cm. long; an Indian silver gourd-shaped box with pull-off cover, circa 1900; a Georgian silver leaf caddy spoon with vein-chased bowl, the tendril ring handle present but detached (marked in bowl with king's head and lion passant only), wt. 273 gm.Overall good condition apart from snapped-off but present tendril handle to caddy spoon and small repair to chasing on rim of magnifying glass.
A group of six late Victorian silver-mounted fluted glass dressing table bottles byThomas Ingleton, London, 1894, chased with flowers and foliate scrolls around wavy-edged reserves; also an Edwardian silver-mounted cut-glass pin box by Crisford & Norris, Birmingham, 1905, of elongated oval form, cover embossed with berries; and another of drum shape, Birmingham, 1904, cover embossed with birds, flowers and scrolls, tallest item 17.8 cm.; also a silver-plated 2-handled bowl, weighable silver 74 gm. (9).The six-piece1894 set in good condition but with remains of flooded initials to reserves, pin box has holes and split to cover, last item has splits to rim of cover.
