(29.2cm.) long.* Condition: In good condition with very light surface scratches to metal, liner very good.

(33cm.) high, 12¼in. (31cm.) diameter.* Condition: The glass bowl with shallow chip to one of the scalloped edges. Otherwise good.
An impressive 19th century cast brass cased desk inkwell, with a clear cut glass well set within brass case with a broad tray rim with stepped border, the bowl raised on three stylised gryphon mounts, cased in pierced scrolling mounts decorated with acanthus leaves, raised on a stepped circular base with worked borders, below a cast brass cover decorated with applied models of fighting horses, 18 cm high (combined), 14 cm diameter.
