A MODERN SILVER TEA STRAINER AND BOWL, Sheffield 1962, mark of Viners Ltd., with twin pierced handles; together with a plain tapering cylindrical christening mug, marks rubbed; and a modern Irish tankard shaped mustard pot, Dublin 1971, mark of Royal Irish Silver Ltd., with blue glass liner, (c.12 troy ozs all in). A large Victorian silver mustard, of oval form, London 1896, having domed hinged lid with shell thumb grip and pierced side and double scroll handle with blue glass liner, together with a George IV salt, possibly by James Wintle, London 1825, of circular form, having embossed floral decoration to bowl, raised upon triple stylised hoof feet, height 4.6cm. x diameter 7.5cm. (2) CONDITION: CONDITION: Both in good original condition with very clear marks.
A George III Silver Swing Handled Sugar Basket, mark probably that of William Plummer, London 1778, vase shaped with bead borders, the sides pierced and engraved with wavy line decoration, openwork handle, engraved with a shell crest, 11.5cm high excluding handle, 5oz 14dwt Marked to the bowl below piercing. Maker's mark partically rubbed other marks with light wear. Piercing all appears intact. A large blob of solder to the interior base of the bowl, but there does not appear to have been any repair. Blue glass liner intact.
