A Mahogany Teapoy, by Gillows of Lancaster, with a rectangular lifting top enclosing a sectioned interior and glass mixing bowl, on turned and foliage support, shaped rectangular base and fluted bun feet, stamped GILLOWS LANCASTER, 44cm by 34cm by 73cmTop with numerous old scratches. Loss to the moulding on the bottom left-hand side. Loss to the beading on the right-hand corner. A few knocks to the feet. Some light fading to the top of the platform but otherwise OK. The lock is an original Bramah lock which works but is a little stiff. With key. Hinges have been replaced. No additional supports added. No sign of worm. Glass bowl- there is only one, unknown as to if it is original to the piece but is fits very well. The bowl has a loss to the foot.
A Bohemian Glass Baluster Vase and Cover, with blue flashed, etched and gilt decoration, 40cm high, together with a similar pair of cranberry tazza with gilt key fret borders, another etched and gilt decorated ovoid bowl, a ruby glass everted pedestal bowl with printed decoration, a Kosta Boda Ashtray and four similar (two trays)Baluster vase and cover - the cover has been stuck to the vase with blutac some time ago and is now very hard, do not want to force the lid off as vase will break, rubbing to all gilded areas, however to chips or cracks, both tazzas heavily rubbed to the gilding, otherwise ok, ovoid bowl with usual scratches to the foot, several chips to the rim, some slight rubbing to the pedestal bowl and very minor surface scratching to the interior, otherwise ok, the Kosta Boda ashtray, with several interior scratches and usual scuffs to the foot, others with usual chips to the foot
A German Silver Dish, by Neresheimer, Hanau, with English Import Marks, oval and with openwork sides, with pale turquoise coloured glass bowl, 14.5cm wide; Together With two pierced silver dishes, total weight of silver 8oz 1dwt, 251gr (3)German dish: marked underneath with makers mark and further marked with English import marks. There is some surface scratching and wear. Rocks when placed on flat surface. Liner possibly with chips polished out.The other dishes with surface scratches and wear. Some repairs to the piercing on the larger dish.
