A Renaissance style Venetian glass goblet, Venice and Murano Glass and Mosaic Co, circa 1903, the conical bowl enamelled with heraldic beasts within line and dotted borders, 14cm high Following the collapse of the Campanile in St Mark's Square in 1902, fragments of an early 16th century Venetian enamel glass goblet were recovered from the ruins. The following year, the Venice and Murano Glass Company, previously known as Salviati & Co, began making copies of the Campanile Cup, an example being bought by the V&A in 1903Typical wear particularly to the gilding.

Another drawing from this stay in Tangier, Bowl of Vegetables and Fruits, is executed in the same style and bears the date 1936 (see Toovey's, Fine Art, 5th September 2018, lot 75). A PAIR OF ENGLISH SIX-LIGHT CUT GLASS CHANDELIERSIN GEORGE III STYLE, 20TH CENTURY each 100cm high, 63cm diameterCondition Report: Surface is dirty from atmosphere and handling, wiring and frame elements are held on with thin wire- some of this has slackened resulting in one upper scroll element now off centre- and one chandelier with loose chains/swags that will require rehanging. Typical wear throughout with minor losses and some edge wear and frittingOne chandelier basically in good condition with some minor losses and edge nibbles. There has been pressure from long threaded screw and base bolt where it meets glass- resulting in some minor wearSecond chandelier also has the same problem- but with more pronounced wear. Additionally it shows greater signs of use and wear with one sconce cracked/broken and at least 4 other sconces with edge chip. The central gilded bowl at heart of the piece is slightly duller than the other lightELECTRICAL GOODS.
