A CHINESE CLOISONNE BOWL, C.1900 The U-shaped body decorated to the exterior with a continuous scrolling lotus flower design on a turquoise ground, together with a blue glazed scalloped dish and a red overlaid glass snuff bottle, carved in relief with two dragons and a yin-yang symbol to each side, 22cm. An important and very fine suite of early 19th Century Irish cutglass Dishes, comprising large oval dish with original detachable base, a pair of matching smaller oval dishes and a similar small bowl en suite, all with prismatic or step cutting, and with serrated edges, c. 1830.* This lot is illustrated in the late Mrs. Mary Boydell's book on 'Irish Glass' from The Irish Heritage Series.
