Early 19th century English glassware, comprising a heavy, faceted wine glass with double knop stem and thick foot, polished pontil mark, 19cm high, a George III faceted rummer, 14cm high, a further plain glass rummer, 15.5cm high and a pressed and faceted pan top bowl rummer, 16.5cm high (4)
An opalescent glass fruit bowl with moulded decoration and registration number 777135 and two early 20th century table light shades, 21 cm diameter, 16.5 cm and 14 cm diameters CONDITION REPORT: The glass bowl is in good order throughout with no obvious faults. The Vaseline glass shade is in good order throughout and rings out nicely when tapped. It has been ground down were the light fitment would attach and there are small insignificant nibbles. The white trailed glass lamp shade is in good sound order throughout and rings out nicely when tapped. There is however a small black foreign body within the glass which is evident when looking at the interior. This is approximately 2 mm x 1 mm in size and is in fused into the glass.
A collection of Victorian emerald green and enamelled glass ware, comprising six jugs, two bowls, a vase and a bowl with cover. Tallest 23 cm (10) CONDITION REPORT: One bowl has a small rim chip and tiny nibbles on the interior rim and a full length rim to foot rim crack. The matt ground bowl has tiny nibbles on the interior rim but is in otherwise good order. The dark green jug has all the gilding rubbed off the rim and a tiny rim chip. The small light green jug with half matt ground has the majority of its gilding missing but appears to be free from any chips. The frilled edge jug appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious faults. The blue jug is in good order but has light gilt rubbing. The barrel form jug is in good order however there is a small nick on the inside rim which I believe to be a firing fault. The gilding is rubbed on the rim and also on part of the body. The large jug has a lot of the gilding rubbed but appears to be free from any chips or cracks. The twin handled vase appears to be in good order throughout, however the gilding at the top has been mostly erased. The cover on the bowl and cover has small nibbles all around the rim. The bowl also has tiny nibbles around the rim but nothing that one may class as detrimental.
A quantity of cranberry and other glass to include two cranberry and uranium glass bells, a cranberry lidded tall pot, an ovoid bowl on clear glass outswept supports, a water jug, a Mdina green and blue ground cylindrical vase etc. CONDITION REPORT Chip to the inside rim of the boot. Flea bites to a couple of the vases.
