Each glass would benefit from a clean. Each with typical wear as per use and age. Four have minor nibbles and chips to base, with additional images now available.
PAIR OF WINE GLASSES OF 18TH CENTURY JACOBITE DESIGN,each with bell bowl wheel engraved with typical symbols comprising the rose, buds and a butterfly, over a double series milk to blue enamel twist stem and circular foot, unpolished pontil scar, 16.7cm and 16.8cm highCondition good to fair. Both exhibit wear commensurate with age and use. The first with minor nibble to base of foot (approx. 2mm).The second has a smaller foot, which has possibly been trimmed.Both ring true and are likely English lead glass.The glass is genuine 18th century drinking glass, though the wheel engraving may be later.Additional images now available.
