Lot 50

A Copeland Spode basket, Art Deco Paragon cup and saucer, Venetian glass candlestick, three pieces of commemorative ware, pewter lidded milk jug, Victorian glass decanter and Japanese pierced octagonal bowl. CONDITION REPORT: Paragon cup and saucer only - Pattern No. 9613A. Both items ring out nicely and have no obvious faults.

Lot 57

A Vera Walther (German) art glass bowl and candlestick. Bowl diameter +/- 28 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no visible chips, cracks or flaws to the body. The decoration does appear to be rather washed out and faded. The foot is rather misshapen but has to be expected from a hand blown piece. There is an applied collector's number of 5079. The candlestick has no visible faults or flaws. The colours again are a little faded and there is a collector's inventory number on the bottom of 4015.

Lot 70

An oversized glass goblet, 19th century, finely engraved with a three masted ship flying the Royal Navy Ensign, on a spreading circular foot (some faults). Height 21.3 cm, diameter 15.3 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There is a chip to the rim that is approximately 13 mm long x 8 mm deep directly above the first mast of the ship. To the rear there is an inverted Y shape crack approximately 5 cm long and 2 cm wide located near the base of the bowl. Other than those faults mentioned there are no further visible flaws.

Lot 110

A Stunning And Very Fine Mid Victorian Solid Silver Figural Centrepiece Of Wonderful Proportions Maker James Charles Edington, hallmarked, London 1862. In the form of a semi naked winged angel figure, clothed in draped robes from the waist down, holding a palm tree to left hand. Raised on a stunning ornate and embossed tripod base. Stands 19 inches high. Condition is excellent. The glass bowl which sits on top of the palm tree is missing and there is an inscription to the base. This can be easily removed if required. No damage dings or repairs to the rest. Wonderful condition and a great example of Silversmith Charles Edington. Weight 53 ozs.

A George III cordial glass, circa 1765, with bucket shaped bowl upon a double series opaque air twist stem on domed foot. Height 14 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: No post production faults visible. On production faults there is an intact air bubble in the lower half of the bowl.

Lot 123

A Georgian cordial glass, circa 1770, having a funnel shaped bowl on a double series opaque air twist stem with circular foot. Height 15 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: No visible chips, cracks or repairs. The interior of the bowl has a lot of very light surface scratch marks. The ground pontil is sharp. There are light concentric scratches to the underside of the foot around the rim however this is to be expected.
