A very large mid 19th Century glass rummer of Maritime interest, the tapering bucket bowl engraved with a three masted ship within a cartouche, opposed by a initials above the date 1836, further engraved with thistles and a band of acorn leaves, raised on a knopped stem continuing to a flattened circular foot, in a later wooden carrying case; together with a Certificate of Competency as Master in the Merchant Service to John Louttit, dated January 1878; and an Extract of an Entry confirming the baptism of John Louttit on the 7th March 1844. (4) Rummer 20.5cm high

Lid with chip to inside rim Another 9-70 approx. 15.5 cm over handle. Blue vase approx. 21 cm high. Wear/knocks scratches to base. Some scratches in body. Fault in glass, crease formed. Some blown bubbles to rim. Smoked glass, approx. 15 cm high. Base inscribed Of-31 HZH8 (?) Base with wear - scratched and bumped. Some surface scratches and rubbing to rim. No water mark.
