A fine pair of 18th/19th century lignum vitae dice shakers of waisted cylindrical form with ring-turned bases and rims, turned mostly from the sap wood and having ridged interiors, 3¾" (9.6 cm) high. A 19th century treen pomander, probably sycamore, of squat cylindrical form, the sides pierced with fine baluster slats over a vertically gouged border below, the pull-off lid having an over-lapping slightly domed top with ring-turned decoration and floret pierced centre within a concentric circle of pierced holes, 3â…œ" (8.5 cm) in diameter. A 19th century Tyrolean or Swiss pearwood travelling watch stand with wooden hinged and carved front, the internal recess lined in velvet, 3â…ž" (10 cm) in length (folded). A rosewood egg cup with a flared moulded rim and turned central girdle to the bowl, a turned knopped stem over a stepped circular foot, possibly 18th century, 3½" (8.7 cm) high. A late 19th/early 20th century treen parasol handle carved as an elephant with glass inset eyes and gold painted ferrule, 2â…ž" (7.2 cm) in length. A set of six miniature olive-wood plates, possibly late 19th century doll's house plates or wine glass coasters, circular with raised rims and flat bases, 3â…›" (8 cm) in diameter. A squat cylindrical box, possibly sycamore, with straight sides and tightly-fitting slightly domed pull-off lid, containing sixteen turned bone pegs, and two red stained examples (18), probably for a board game, the box 3" (7.7 cm) high, together with an early 19th century sycamore or fruitwood egg-timer frame, with 'draughtsman' turned ends, 3â…›" (8 cm) high.
