A moulded opalescent glass bowl in the style of the Lalique 'Coquilles' design with impressed marks to base (22.5cm diameter)The piece is in the Lalique-style but is not Lalique. It has opalescence to the middle of the scallop shell-style motifs. There are some bubbles noted inside the glass and there are some minor scratches to the underside of the foot as expected and commensurate with age. Upon running your finger around the outside of the lip of the edge there is a very small pin-head sized chip away at the edge which could well have been a bubble in the glass when the piece was actually made. No other chips, cracks or restoration noted.

A stunning Chinese antique 19th Century Peking glass cameo censer prayer bowl raised on tripod feet with amber glass ground to the body. Raised black decoration depicting flowers and birds. Two simple looped handles to the circular rim. The underside features a four mark Qianlong reign mark. Measures: 12cm wide.
