A mid Victorian glass goblet, of shipping interest, dated 1855 and engraved with a two masted merchant ship and crossed ferns, inscribed `Mary Higham, Jane of Liverpool, 1855` the round funnel bowl raised on a squat stem, 13cm high and another shipping goblet dated 1852, inscribed `Robert Walter, Greenwich, May 17th 1852` and showing a two masted vessel `Lochabar` (badly cracked) 16cm high (2) The Jane of Liverpool was registered in 1846 as travelling on the Liverpool to New York route, and was probably an immigrant ship.
