Silver spice bowl, 925/000, consisting of 2 round bowls with fluting and pearl rim, on ball feet, connected by means of a handle with ball. Equipped with 2 glass inner containers. MT.: JM van Kempen, Voorschoten, jl.:E:1890. 10x5x9cm. Silver about 80 grams. Glass inner containers have chip. In good condition
[CAPONE AL]: (1899-1947) American gangster and crime boss during the Prohibition era. A long-stemmed crystal white wine glass previously belonging to Al Capone, the cut bowl attractively etched with floral motifs and with a decorative, shaped stem featuring a finger rest, and the base also decorated to the edges. The glass measures 8” in height and has a 3” diameter at the rim. Some light age wear as to be expected, about VG Provenance: Accompanied by a printed certificate issued by Al Capone's granddaughter, Barbara Mae Capone.

A 19th century mahogany tea caddy of sarcophagus form, with central pressed moulded glass mixing bowl and two compartments with lift-up lids, 14 x 28 x 14.5cm. CONDITION REPORT The caddy is lockable, but there is no key. The tea compartments are missing their silver lined interiors. A couple of knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
An 18th century opaque air twist stem cordial glass with engraved detail of moth and flower to the bowl, height 15.25cm and an opaque air twist stem ale glass, with band of engraved detail above the facet cut lower portion of the bowl, height 17.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT The moth and flower glass has no obvious damage or restoration. The ale glass has no obvious damage or restoration.
A silver hallmarked matching creamer jug and sugar bowl, together with two silver topped sugar shakers. The creamer jug and sugar bowl having stirrup handles and faceted sides (hallmarked Birmingham 1918, William Adams Ltd), the sugar shakers having cut glass bodies and pierced silver tops (hallmarked Birmingham 1923 the second with rubbed hallmarks). Combined silver weight 202g. Sugar bowl measures 13cm wide, tallest sugar shaker measures 16cm tall.
