JOHN JESSOP HARDWICK (1831-1917) Study of a bowl of pink and white flowers, signed and dated 1872, gouache, 7.25" x 10.25"Overall good condition. Some of the thicker paint to the edges of the pinky red petunias has crazed and is lifting slightly, but at first glance this looks like intentional highlights by the artist. There are a couple of small dent holes to the paper, but, again, these are very difficult to spot. No other damage or restoration is visible. Please note this condition report has been prepared with the painting under a mount and behind glass.
