A CHINESE YELLOW GLASS 'ANBAXIAN' BOWL 18TH/19TH CENTURY The rounded sides raised upon a slightly spreading foot and flaring towards the rim, carved in relief with beribboned Daoist Emblems, the opaque glass of a bright egg-yolk yellow colour, 15.5cm. Cf. Chinese Jewellery and Glass, Spink & Son Ltd., London, 1989, no.162 for a comparable example.
