KOSTA BODA; a clear glass bowl with blue tinted rim and abstract design to the base, signed, numbered 59284, diameter 22cm, a Lindstrand for Kosta green and clear glass vase, height 19cm, and a further Lindstrand for Kosta blue and clear glass cylindrical vase, numbered 46084, height 12.5cm (3).
NUUTAJÄRVI NOTSJO; a group of wares including a set of 6 glasses by Kaj Franck, glass beakers, cups, small dishes, etc. CONDITION REPORT: All beakers in good condition, some with minor wear, one (black) with major vertical scratch, two small dishes with some areas of nibbles, yellow bowl with few nibbles to rim, clear bowl with tiny bruise to side.
TAPIO WIRKKALA; a textured clear glass vase of compressed form, height 22.75cm, an aubergine and clear tinted glass vase, height 29.25cm, and Pertti Santalahti for Humppila; a clear and orange glass shaped bowl, signed, width approx 15.5cm (3). CONDITION REPORT: Tall piece with abrasion to base commensurate with use and age, minor manufacturing bubble flaws, tiny nibbles to top, other two pieces in good condition, all with some surface dirt.
LALIQUE: a circular glass powder bowl and cover with Art Nouveau stylised decoration and traces of original paint, moulded mark to base 'Lalique Depose' also moulded to base 'Trademark Coty France', diameter 8.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Wear and use has worn away much of the pink highlighting which may have been added later, surface dirt.
An Isle of Wight Studio Glass 'Azurene' range cylinder vase in the blue colourway, an early paperweight with flame pontil, a multicoloured fish paperweight and a Chris Lucas Touch of Glass footed bowl. (4) Note: Chris Lucas originally worked for Isle of Wight Studio Glass before setting up his Touch of Glass studio. His designs are quite often mistaken for those of Michael Harris's studio as in the case of this bowl, they are very similar.
