George III silver cruet frame of oval form with ropework border and central handle with engraved initials, on four classically inspired feet, with four matching cut glass condiment bottles, including two with silver mounts. (London 1819). William Bateman. Together with a separate silver condiment spoon (London 1820) Maker's mark rubbed. Frame 20.5cm overall height.Condition report: General overall condition good. Silver frame has some surface scratching and marks to base where bottles sit. No major damage or repairs. Frame uprights are slightly distorted. Lower edge of silver base around feet is slightly distorted. Wooden underbase may not be original. It has a small hole drilled in the centre and some damage around the hole. Two silver-topped bottles are good. Glass is clean with some minor surface chipping. Silver mounts are good. Caster top is seized. Two glass bottles - both have surface chipping and one is cloudy. Both stoppers have chipping to tops and pegs. Silver spoon has minor damage to stem and bowl is slightly distorted

A collection of amethyst and amethyst overlaid cut glass ware including two cornucopia vases, four rinsers, lidded jar, ten amethyst wines and five grape and vine etched amethyst wines on clear stems CONDITION REPORTS One of the cornocopia vases with chip to rim and slight blemishes to the remainder of th rim, the other basically sound, both hands with lacquerwork to the brass very worn. One finger bowl or rinser with blemish to the rim in the form of an inclusion rather than chip. Remainder of glasses appear sound.
