The second slightly taller glass has a 1cm x 8mm slither chip to the underside of foot which also spurns a 4mm x 1mm rim chip and a further 3mm x 1mm rim chip to the foot.

A matched set of five late 18th century English wine glasses, the part hammered rounded funnel bowls decorated with band of swag engravings, raised on double opaque airtwist stems and feet, height 14cm (some af) (4+1). CONDITION REPORT: One of the glasses has got three areas of chips to the edge of the base and minor nibbles. Two other glasses have single areas of chips/nibbles, one of which has an area of cracks and nibbles to one side of the rim of the bowl. Another glass has very minor crack and manufacturing imperfection.
