A 19th century fireman’s leather helmet, with front and back peaks, brass binding to the front peak and ear to ear band with diamond shaped studs at either end, integral comb with brass ventilator hole to the front, leather liner, basically GC (some wear, leather crazed and bubbled); a Vic fireman’s blue coat, made for a child, red bands to collar and cuffs, brass shoulder scales and buttons bearing helmet and crossed axes, label of Elkington Gravesend inside, and a matching pair of pigskin gloves with brass studs. A Late 18th Century Fruitwood & Elm Thames Valley Comb-back Windsor Chair. The crested top rail above a vasiform centre splat flanked by six long spindles and side slats piercing the arm bow, with eight further under-arm spindles and bent-wood end supports. The elm seat on turned legs united by an H-form stretcher.

A Comb-Morion, 19th Century, formed in two halves with a rounded skull, rising to a high medial comb, embossed with foliage and mythical creatures, integral brim turned down at each side, rising to an acute point at the front and rear, the crown embossed on each face with large fleur-de-lys, encircled at its base by ten round-headed rivets, the inner retaining some black paint finish, 30cm high A Halberd, with tapering central spike, of diamond section, waisted at the base, cresentic pierced axe-blade and rear fluke, 60cm high.
