Ridged gauntlets with metacarpi sliding on four lames. The knuckle ridges with pronounced roped flanges. Attached thumb and finger scales (later replacements). The cuffs tapering to a point, with roped and turned flanges. The underside of many components blackened and repaired, the leather lining renewed.
