dating: 17th Century provenance: Papal States, Blackened, iron skull in two halves, featuring typical brass rosettes at the base (some missing), wide and smooth comb, brim, iron plume-holder complete with crimson plumage. Featuring an old, white-lacquered writing with inventory number: '27 GSP'. It is a typical, German morion dating 1630 circa, re-used by the Swiss Guard. The Swiss Guard still uses original armaments and cuirass from the 16th-17th Century. height 34 cm.
dating: circa 1600 provenance: Italy, Worked in two pieces with high comb and brim, the border recessed and twisted (old restoration on one side). Rows of rivets. The external surface is decorated with engravings of the XIX century representing people, mythological creatures, trophies, weapons, armours, floral motifs on a dark granulated background. height 31.5 cm.
dating: Late 16th Century provenance: Germany, Iron skull with two halves united on the comb, medium-height, with smooth border. The sides of the skull are painted black with lilies in relief. A row of rivets with brass rosette at the base. Brim with hemmed border. A plume-holder at the back. Small missing parts and defects. height 29 cm.
dating: 17th Century provenance: Southern Germany, Iron skull in two halves joining at the comb, with twisted and engraved border. A big lily in relief at the border, remains of black on all the remaining parts of the external surface. A row of rivets with brass rosettes at the base of the skull. Brim with hemmed border and decorated with nicks. Blueing at the inside and with remains of a leather string. height 31 cm.
dating: 17th Century provenance: Italy, Skull worked in two-pieces with short, riveted and twisted comb. The two hemispheres are marked 'G' and 'P' (standing for 'Gioco del Ponte'), riveted brim, pointed and with a mark of the coat of arms of the Order of Malta. The nose is riveted probably to be used for the 'Gioco del Ponte'. Movable cheek-guards with rosette-shaped vent-tails. Two bladed nape-guards. All pieces decorated with double lines. Small restorations and damages. height 26 cm.

Remains of rivets at the base with brass rosette. Sharpened brim, in one piece with the skull, ribbed at the center and provided with twisted rope. Missing cheekpieces, one with remains of pintles. Nape-guard in one piece with the twisted en suite. height 27 cm.
dating: Late 16th Century provenance: Germany, Skull hand-manufactured in one piece, two small restorations at the inside (at the comb and on the right), with twisted comb, the brim with lowered border and with twisted edge, remains of a stamp probably of Nuremberg; cheek-pieces pierced with rosettes, decorated together with the neck-blade, riveted nape-guard, the border decorated en suite with the brim and the cheek-pieces. Row of smooth, flower-shaped, brass rosettes. Plume-holder with toothed border. Remains of leather strings. Fine shape. height 28.5 cm.

Featuring a row of rivets with thick, iron head decorated with grooves at the center of the skull. Storm visor hinged with edges bent towards the outside. Provided with a hook with pressure-button on the right side. Fine substitute for a very expensive and hard to find original helmet. height 20 cm.
