A diamond and natural pearl tiara on a tortoiseshell comb, in fitted case. Featuring seven off round natural pearls of a cream-white colour with pinkish-green orient. With fourteen graduated size diamonds in cut down collet setting, 12 millegrain set diamonds and 101 bead set diamonds. All diamonds are old mine cut and range from approximately 1mm in diameter up to 3mm. The stones appear to be set in silver on gold, with all stone having open backs. The tiara portion, which appears to have clips to attach it to a full tiara frame, is removeable from the comb with a screw affixing it in place. The tortoiseshell is marked "Le Francois Baude".
