A early 20th Century fitted silver vanity set consisting of two bone handled brushes and silver handled comb hallmarked for Birmingham date letter G 1906, makers mark for William Comyns & Sons Ltd. Together with glass and silver topped accoutrements, inkwell and match holder/ striker set within leather cases etc. Silver top pots hallmarked for London date letter Q 1911, makers mark for William Amaziah Ellwick. All set within a black leather carrying case with a purple satin lining, marks to front for Creaves New St Birmingham. Case measures 20cm tall by 34cm wide by 32cm deep.

A rare WW2 Russian Model 1936 (SSh-36) Steel Combat Helmet, the shell with its flared sides and top comb, centre of the helmet has red painted Star with Hammer and Sickle, interior with black leather sweatband with six fingers and a brown leather chinstrap, stamped ‘3 1080’ These are now scarcely found helmets which were worn in the early part of the Second World War (Great Patriotic War) before being replaced by the more common SSh-39 and SSh-40 models.
