A 19th century Swiss musical box, with 13" comb, playing eight airs and with inlaid mahogany case. Length 57 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The music box is in working order. The teeth are all present, however six are missing their tips. There is a 5.5 cm band of tarnishing on the right hand side of the drum. The lithograph applied to the underside of the lid has small nicks to the left hand corner and to the top edge. The case is generally in good order throughout with only very minor knocks. There is a small rectangular brass lock and in the top right hand corner is the number 4, the bottom right hand corner the number 0 and in the bottom left hand corner the number 3. The top left hand corner is blank.
