A George V six-piece silver-backed and blue guilloche enamel dressing table set comprising two clothes brushes, two hair brushes, comb and hand-mirror, Birmingham, 1930, W. Bruford & Sons, in gilt-tooled leather fitted case with satin interior, together with a similar topped circular glass powder jar. (7)
DRESSING CASE.A crocodile dressing case, well filled with four silver mounted brushes & six silver mounted jars & bottles. The case also contains various cases including a manicure set (incomplete), curling tongs, stationery case, mirror, jewellery box, sewing case, card case, comb case, vesta case & inkwell. Also, ivory glove stretchers, paper knife & shoe lift. The set also contains a matched hinged tortoiseshell comb in green case & a book of Common Prayer indicating that this was a christening gift in March 1925. Silver mounted pieces hallmarked for London 1901/03. The front outer edge of the case stamped 'The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, 125 & 126 Fenchurch Street, EC.' The case complete with a leather mounted canvas foul weather cover.

A multiphone five cylinder musical box with lithographed lid and label to interior of lid raised on four brass ball feet CONDITION REPORTS The box is a cylinder player not disc player, the box size is approximately 14.5 cm x 17 cm x 11.5 cm in height, there are varying teeth missing, tooth tips appear OK but there is significant damage and it is a single comb. The lot has significant damage as already stated, showing signs of rusting and pitting in various places to all five cylinders and the mechanism itself, paper label has various tooth marks and scuffs to it. The box has some splits and gauges to the inside. The decoration to the top is scratched and missing in various areas, some of the joints are gappy. The lot has general wear and tear through out, see images for further details
*Aberdeen Cycling Club. A well-crafted gentleman's vanity set by Reid & Rudd of Glasgow, comprising a round top, leather-covered case with gilt decoration, opening to reveal brushes, mirror, comb, shaving brush and nail file. Probably Victorian in date, and originally presented as a competition prize, the front lock is intact. The leather flap hasp, attached to the lid, has degraded a little, but will repair. Please handle carefully when viewing. 13 x 13 x 21cms high (1)

A scarce 10 bore Tower flintlock Short Sea Service musket, 42” overall, barrel 26” with fore sight, London proofs and what appear to be ordnance proofs stamped over Tower private proofs; slightly rounded lock bearing large crowned “GR” and “Tower” and having ring neck cock; walnut almost fullstock having no fore end cap, butt of late pattern with rounded comb and bearing crowned broad arrow over 1806 storekeeper’s mark, with late type brass mounts, flat butt plate tang engraved with number “2”, the front ramrod pipe incorporating ramrod retaining spring. Good Condition (action requires attention, barrel lightly rusted overall, some service wear, no ramrod). Short Sea Service muskets were assembled utilising old parts.
