dating: mid-16th Century provenance: Germany, Skull in one piece, with medium comb, with twisted border and outlines. Slightly extended skull, with a row of old rivets with brass rosettes (one is missing). Strongly sloping brim with a recessed band and file-roped, twisted border. A small defect at the comb, an old repair and one veining on the brim. Signs of hammering inside, remains of antique rivets and traces of antique leather strings. height 31 cm.
