A good scarce French steel barrelled flintlock blunderbuss with flattened elliptical muzzle, c 1800, 35” overall, the lightly browned barrel 19” with lightly gilt decoration consisting of borders of swags, trophy of flags and large sun in splendour; plain bright steel slightly rounded lock with swan neck cock and roller on frizzen spring; pale walnut fullstock, butt with high comb, inlaid with silver wire scrolls around the breech tang and wrist, trigger guard finial, and throat pipe; bright steel mounts include wrap around wavy edge butt plate, engraved trigger guard with urn finial, engraved flat side plate, and with bright steel ramrod. Good Working Order and Clean Condition (the cock has been fractured and repaired). Plate 6
A French DB 22 bore flintlock sporting gun by (Jean Baptiste) Jerest a St Etienne, c 1785, 52” overall, barrels 36”, the octagonal breeches engraved with trophies (worn), and with brass fore sight; bright steel rounded locks with swan neck cocks and signed in script; plain walnut halfstock the butt with high comb, the bright steel mounts include wrap around wavy edge butt plate and large trigger guard with scrolled hand grip, and with pewter (?) escutcheon. A 19th Century Brown Tooled Leather Fitted Ladies Companion with shaped lid, metal clasp and brass metal carrying handle. The lid interior, lined in ginger silk satin, is fitted with a shaped and bevelled mirror. Next, a small fabric covered shelf fitted for tools (some present). The padded base is void for work in progress. Offered with an ivory twist top fitted case containing a stiletto and fittings; a miniature ivory brush and comb; a circular carved ivory container, a plain bone pincushion, an ivory pincushion carved with ivy leaves and berries; a mother of pearl thread spool; a spool holder with carved mother of pearl top; and a 19th century ivory pincushion in the shape of a Lyre, the ivory carved and pierced (9) CONDITION REPORT: . the leather on the upper corner at the back of the Companion is lifting slightly. Other items generally in good order.

1968 model West German Bundeswehr military knives & flick knife comb (3). Both knives, 1 x CCM, 1 x Victorinox Switzerland, feature olive drab grips with Bundes eagle, 8.4cm Rostfrei blades, 9cm sawblades unused with sheath covers, 4cm cork screws all in working condition. Flick comb, 23.4cm fully extended, good working action.

Wide chin-strap with engraved scales, the last with a mask, lateral lion's heads. Visor lacquered in green inside. Leather cap with golden decorations. Leather chin-strap. Well visible signs of use inside, small damages and parts missing. The rest in good conditions. Rare and beautiful helmet. height 36 cm.
dating: provenance: Württemberg, Leather skull, visor and neck-guard. Silver-color mounts. A badge on the front with medallion with a crowned monogram 'FR' and with motto 'FURCHTLOS UND TREW'. Chin-strap with flat scales on buttons with a lion's head. Cockade painted on the left side. High comb in green and yellow wool. Complete with a hackle. Leather lining. A detailed copy made for the regiment's 100th anniversary celebration. For this event parts of the troops of the Dragoner-Regiments 'König' (2. Württembergisches) Nr. 26 were equipped with the exact replicas of uniforms and helmets. height 39 cm.
dating: provenance: Germany, Skull in two halves, joined at the comb, which border has a twisted engraving and edge with a recessed band. Skull painted in black, with brass, rosette-shaped rivets at the base. Relieved decoration in the center, with lily-shaped decoration on a blackened ground. Brim with file-roped and twisted edge. height 29 cm.
dating: Late 16th Century provenance: Southern Germany, Iron skull in two halves, joined at the comb, of a medium height and with smooth rope. Skull covered with two bands on each side, both deeply recessed. The relieved metal surface is blackened, recessed bands and comb sides of a natural color of metal. Brim in one piece with the skull and, like this, joined in the center, edge with a recessed band and border embossed to imitate the rope. Mobile restored cheek-piece. A plume-holder on the back, in iron as well. Some restored rivets. Short nape-guard in one piece with a skull. height 27 cm.
