A 19th Century Swiss musical box, the case re-furbished and with restoration enclosing a single cylinder movement with five bells in sight, No'd. 8251, 55.5 cm wide x 33 cm deep x 30 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The piece appears to be in working order though is a little slow and dirty looking which will no doubt affect the playing action. Arguably therefore requiring a clean. The comb has damage to one tooth which has been repaired and there is an end of another tooth missing and the fine spike end of another missing. The case has had damage, repair and restoration in the past but is now basically sound - arguably in need of further sympathetic restoration.Works but in need of some tlc. Areas of mould - two teeth broken, one at the top, one at the base. One tooth is missing a tip.
