Symphonion disc musical box, with single comb and crank wind, in grained case with floral transfer on lid and internal colour print, with 17 discs in a Symphonion album (spine detached) Motor slightly noisy but plays well, single comb no teeth missing. Discs just over 7 1/2 inch (system couldn't cope with eighth of an inch) Spine detached - means the album is detached (but present)

Bros., mirror 7.5cm overall length CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Silver mounts are good, some surface scratching and minor denting. Inlaid decoration is undamaged. Tortoiseshell has no visible damage other than minor surface marks and scratching. Comb is chipped at both ends and some teeth silver inlay has lifted. Hallmarks have some rubbing but clear. Case interior is dirty and tired. Hinge covering and cover struts are broken. Exterior is reasonably good, some scuffing and wear to gold decoration. Fasteners are tarnished, one is damaged. Fall-front hinges very stiff
