Body made of sheet steel with rear visor shaped in the form of a lobster tail fitted with an elaborate brass comb surmounted with the face of Medusa and a black horse hair crest. On the crest is attached marmouset, in good condition. The front plate is ornated with a flaming bomb . The jugular is made of leather and brass oak leaves.Good condition. I-II
A 19th century Swiss mechanical music box, playing four airs, the drum 15.5 cm, all within an inlaid rosewood case. 32.5 cm wide, 20 cm high, 14.5 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: There are no loose parts with this lot. All you get is what you can see in the image. The second section of comb is missing. There are also other pieces of the mechanism not present. It does wind and when the right hand lever is lifted the cylinder does operate and play.
