AN EARLY 17TH CENTURY GERMAN BLACK AND WHITE COMB MORION, two-piece black painted skull of characteristic form with tall raised comb and down swept dhallow brim, the whole with turned edge, the base of the skull with ten lining rivets, nine retain their foliate embossed brass washers, decorated with a polished curved band drawn down in the centre and surmounted by a diamond-shaped form.
