A silver group comprising: a plaque formed as a comb with scrolled upper edge, geometric panels and vertical 'teeth'; a pin with lozengiform head, pierced and with lateral scrolls and hatched bands. 32 grams total, 5.5-12.5cm (2 1/4 - 5"). Property of a European gentleman; formerly acquired on the German art market before 1980. [2, No Reserve] Fine condition; comb mount split.
9th-12th century AD. A bronze comb with openwork decoration, to the top two stylised horses, engraved roundels to the body; series of teeth below; suspension ring to the top. 12 grams, 66mm (2 1/2"). From a North West London collection; previously acquired in the 1980s. [No Reserve] Fine condition.

A glass rhyton, rolled rim with twisted rope pattern, series of roundels to the edge; conical body with two collars to the lower section of twisted rope pattern; spout in the shape of a cockerel with comb to head, small hole to chest; trail pattern running from cockerel to rim. 720 grams, 24.5cm (9 3/4"). Property of a gentleman living in central London; previously in a private Belgian collection formed in the early 1980s. Fine condition.
