A Swiss rosewood and ebonised eight airs music box, the 9 1/2 inch single comb cylinder striking on six bells. L53cm. Condition - general wear to case to include minor marks and scratches, slight split in veneer to top and also a small chip, appears to be working correctly but not sold with any guarantee, one butterfly bell finial missing and one flower bell finial loose, no missing teeth, the movement appears a little dirty.
A Swiss lever wind music box, with 9 cm comb, playing eight airs, in a painted beech case, retailed by B H A Ste Croix, Switzerland, 40 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Chips and scratches to top. Some loss to monogram. Woodworm holes scattered along all four sides of the box. Internal paper to the underside of the lid present. One piece ripped off the top right hand corner. The musical movement works.

A cylinder musical box by 'Henriot' of Geneva c1850 in a plain case with drop down flap covering the three controls, stop/start, manual stop and change/repeat, playing four airs on approximately 112 teeth comb with tune sheet. Underside of the case inscribed 'E. Hickman, Oxford', serial number 11959 on bedplate, cylinder approximately 20cm in length, case L35cm x W13cm x H11cm. Nickel plated mechanism with twin spring barrel with speed/tempo adjustment to the governor. Three brass cylinders playing eight airs each in separate wooden box. Tune indicator with harp decoration and zither attachment to the comb. Mechanism mounted on a brass bedplate and contained within a burr walnut case with ornate brass handles. Case L83 x W33 x H23cm, cylinders approximately L29 x 5.5cm diameter
A 19thC interchangeable orchestral cylinder musical box in burr walnut case with banding to the lid and sides, mounted on a matching table with two drawers for the extra cylinders. 56 airs on seven cylinders listed on the original tune sheet, twin spring barrel with tune indicator, two combs, 18 note centre reed organ, seven bells, seven beater drum and six beater castanet. The drum, bells and castanet mechanisms can be switched off via the levers behind the comb. Stop / play and repeat controls to the side of the mechanism. Brass bed plate with nickel plated features, reeds and bellows mounted below the bedplate and driven via a crank next to the governor, three decorative bird finials to the bells. Believed to be manufactured by Samuel Troll of Geneva but the mechanism is unmarked. Cylinders 33cm long x 6.5cm diameter. Music box 92cm long x 39cm wide x 34cm tall. Table 100cm long x 53cm wide x 61cm tall
A late 19th/early 20th Century Swiss eight air musical box by Paillard Vaucher Fils of St. Croix, No. 10380, the single cylindrical with 10.75ins two piece steel comb (one pin missing), drum and five bells in sight with butterfly strikers, contained in rosewood and ebonised case, the top and front inlaid with musical trophies and banded in rosewood, 21.75ins x 12ins x 10ins high (movement and case in need of repair and restoration)
