Royal Horse Guards / Blues & Royal Officer's Cuirass. A scarce example comprising of front and back polished steel plates complete with gilt brass shoulder scales. The front plate is edged with gilt brass and studs. The centre is with a high comb. The back plate is again with gilt brass edging and studs. Also with the shoulder strap attachments in the form of two silvered lion's head boss's. The straps are with silvered floral studs and lion's heads. Lining of red grained leather and velvet edging. With some service and storage wear.
A French M15 Adrian Helmet World War One - era with metal comb affixed to the crown with four pins and with the insignia of the French Infantry - a flaming bomb with the initials RF (Republique Francaise) - the helmet features an intact seven finger brown leather liner, mounted with shell and bands of corrugated metal, and secured in the centre by an adjustable cord, the brown leather chin-strap is intact and secured with buckle. The helmet is painted dark blue throughout and there is expected aging marks (the Adrian is widely considered to the be first steel combat helmet in regular service in the modern era). SUN 287 - CARL PERKINS - GLAD ALL OVER/LEND ME YOUR COMB - Not oft seen original US 10" 78RPM from Carl Perkins at Sun 287. The record is in V+ condition with only a couple of rather light and minor markings, there is shadowing to both sides perhaps caused by a PVC sleeve. The labels are smart, clean and sharp. U-288/289 matrix.

Crazed.Mounted vase: Ceramic ok, lacking one mount to neck.
A Hanoverian cavalry officer’s gilt helmet, c 1825, the skull with applied acanthus leaves to the back, the front peak with broad binding to rim, plain tall comb with black hair crest (detached), rayed helmet plate embossed with crowned Hanoverian arms in motto strap, with supporters and surmounted by a crown, and scroll on either side “Peninsula” and “Waterloo”, and at the top 2 further scrolls “Garzia” and “Hernandes”, right side chinscales and ear rosette of star in circle (left side missing).
