A pair of Meissen porcelain figures, of a boy feeding geese, 12.5 cm high, and a girl feeding chickens, 11.5 cm high (both a.f.) (2) See illustration Condition report Report by NG Boy: Approx. 12.5 cm high. Left hand has been broken and glued. Pieces of green leaves missing from hat and right hand. Ribbon in hair damaged. Chips to bowl by his right foot. Goose with raised head has crack in neck. Edge of base rough with some small nibbles, the base with blue crossed swords mark, impressed 147 and incised C47. Girl: Approx. 11 cm high. Fingers and thumb on right hand broken and missing. Finger tips on left hand broken and missing. Chips to pieces in basket. The browny coloured chick with chip on head. Hen with roughness to her comb. Again some nibbles around the base and some roughness. The base with crossed swords mark, impressed 121 and incised 8214. Both figures with rubbing to gilt decoration.
