Higham (c. 1822) View of Fonthill Abbey Signed, inscribed and dated July 24 1822 Watercolour over pencil 31 x 44.5cm; 12¼ x 17½in It is possible that this is by Thomas Higham (1796-1844), an engraver who was active in London and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1824-1830. Patina is a light olive brown but lighter at exposed extremities. Back side of base is minorly scuffed.
