Set of four George II cast silver candlesticks, with slender columns and scroll and claw decoration, separate sconces (London 1756/7) William Grundy. Sconces apparently unmarked. All at approximately 940zs. 25/25.5cm overall height.General overall condition good, all four sticks are tarnished overall, some surface wear and scratching, minor dings and dents, no major damage or repair, three of the sticks have slightly uneven bases and do not sit square. Sconces all have knocks and dings, tubes are bent, one is very thick and heavy, other three are much lighter and thinner, none appear to be marked. Total weight of the four sticks, including sconces, all at approximately 94 ozs. Provenance: By direct family descent.
