Two nests of oak occasional tables, one with moulded edge, 56x35cm and smaller.Qty: 6Condition report:Long table with tables tucked under either end - two large spot marks to the top of the main table, both of the smaller tables have water and ring marks to them, with one being also a shade lighter in colour. All sound, no splits or breaks. Largest table's measurements: 61.5cm, depth 36cm, height 46.5cm.The graduated nest of three tables - all have numerous ring stains and watermarks. All are sound and free of any breaks or repairs. The largest has quite a dark red tone, whereas the two smaller are a bit duller in tone. Largest table's measurements: width 55.5cm, depth 34cm, height 48cm.

A RARE AND UNUSUAL PISTOL GAS STOVE LIGHTER, Patented by REMANCO and made in England around the 1930s, the Remanco Toy Company was founded in 1893 by W.R. Pedley & Co in Dimminsdale, Willenhall, Staffordshire, England and dissolved in 1965, it is missing its flint and its surface is rusted in numerous places, comes with a believed Afghan made flintlock cavalry pistol which is fitted with what appears to be a genuine Tower lock marked with a Crown over GR and on its tail is marked Dublin Castle, the front of the barrel is attached to the stock with a brass barrel retention band alien to original Dublin Castle pistols of this period, its stock unlike the standard walnut stocks on Dublin Castle pistols this is in some other make of timber, it is however is good working order and has been well used and will have been made before 1939 so classed as an antique (2)

A USHAK 'MEDALLION' CARPET WESTERN ANATOLIA CIRCA 1600 Approximately 563cm x 381cm This grand Ottoman carpet comes from a well documented group that were woven in western Anatolia, probably on looms in the city of Uşak, from the 15th century until the late 17th century. Usually with a red ground, and the large circular medallion or medallions indigo, the Kime example here has the inverse colour arrangement. The group all have one or more large circular medallions interspersed by smaller, lobed medallions, set against a ground decorated with delicate floral tracery. The earliest and finest examples of these carpets were probably woven for the Ottoman court, but it is clear that they were also exported to Europe from the 16th century, as they appear in paintings by artists such as Vermeer, Velasquez and Zurburan. There are also a number of surviving examples in European collections. For a related example, sharing the inverse colour scheme of the present lot, and sharing its double medallion design and overall proportions, see the Lefèvre large Medallion Ushak, now in the al-Sabah Collection, Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, Kuwait, (Friedrich Sphuler, Carpets from Islamic Lands, London, 2012, pp.51-55). For closely related examples at auction, see Christie's, London, 19 April 2016, lot 151 and Sotheby's London, 6 October 2010, lot 408. Condition Report: Pile unevenly worn, and with numerous and extensive areas of re-piling and probably re-weave. Most of the areas of restoration have faded slightly and are lighter than the surrounding original pile. Both ends have been rewoven to an approximate average of 20cm. Provenance: Sotheby's, London, 24 November 2005, lot 169, where purchased by Robert Kime Condition Report: It is behind glass and has not been examined out of its frame. The sheet is slightly discoloured and acid stained. It has been remounted which exposes a lighter section of the sheet along the upper edge. A Coalport cabaret service, circa 1835, comprising teapot and cover, cream jug and twin-handled sucrier, with a tray, pattern 3/180, mock sevres-style mark, tray 40cm wide (crack to foot of tray)Condition:Tray - there is a firing crack to the base, which has extended into a hairline. There is also a small nibble on the edge of the foot.Sucrier - there is a firing crack around the finial on the cover.The teapot and sucrier both have crazing to the glaze with some very slight yellowing.The end of the teapot spout is restored.Interestingly, the cream jug and tray have green decoration under the glaze, but the teapot and sucrier have decoration over the glaze, in a slightly lighter shade of green. In our opinion, both types are Coalport. The overglaze pieces have some scratches to the green ground.

A small group of Coalport batwing, early 20th century, comprising a trio of teacup, saucer and side plate and a matching sugar/slop bowl in the rare turquoise colourway; a further trio of teacup, saucer and side plate in the rare lighter blue colourway decorated with leaves; and a teapot and cover, small cream jug, sugar bowl and twin-handled cake plate in the green colourway, printed marks (12 pcs including cover)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Green - sugar bowl broken and repaired. Cream jug and teapot both crazed.Turquoise - Two hairline cracks to the bowl and crazing near the upper rim. Trio undamaged but there is some crazing to the handle of the teacup.Blue trio with leaves - Saucer crazed and with a hairline to the rim. The sideplate is heavily crazed throughout. The green leaves on the exterior of the cups are very worn.

One saucer is heavily crazed, another crazed near the edges. Two cups with light staining and also crazing to the handles. A further cup both stained and crazed, and two other cups with lighter crazing/staining to rim.
