A part canteen of Mappin & Webb cutlery, six place setting, in an oak case.Condition report:Some ivorine kniff handles discoloured, carving knife 'Viceroy' (not M & W) with dark handle, Steel, lighter handle, fork medium colour. The carvers may be a different maker, soup ladle worn and pitted, one same ladle missing, some tarnish to coffee spoons and tea spoons, slight tarnish to some dessert forks and spoons. 49 pieces by Mappin & Webb wear commensurate with age. 6 x Fish knives and 6 x Forks by maker H&S, 2 x handles cracked on knives, 1 x fish fork handle cracked, three loose ferules, 1 x preserve spoon by J G G S, 1 x preserve spoon by a different maker, plate worn and handle discoloured.
A CORAL BEAD NECKLACE, graduated coral beads, carved with alternating crosshatched and floral decoration. Length 36.5cm, 64.3 grams The absence of a Condition Report does not imply that a lot is without imperfections. Please note carefully the exclusion of liability for the condition of lots contained in the Conditions of Sale.The necklace is in good condition, there is pitting to the coral bead incorporating the box clasp. The beads have been restrung and the tongue clasp is modern. The largest bead measures 16.14mm in diameter approximately. The coral is of orange-pink colouration with some concentration of colour in some areas and some lighter patches. Condition report made 010321.Smallest bead measures 8.45mm in diameter approximately.
A large and heavy baluster-shaped hallmarked silver coffee pot; the wrythen-style finial above a hinged domed top and baluster-shaped body, with finely carved and shaped wooden handle and the spout decorated in high relief to the base with an acanthus-style motif, raised on spreading circular foot, engraved armorial crest and assayed London probably 1764 (27cm high to tip of finial, total weight approximately 872g)Condition Report: It is noted that it is tall and heavy, the underside and foot look good, the outside of the foot looks good, on the lower part of the baluster-shaped body there is a half thumbnail-sized indentation to the underside of the handle about an inch to the lower right, various other very minor 'indentations'. spout looks good, the handle affixes to the body well, the carved wooden handle looks good and is lighter in places commensurate with age, the dome-topped lid looks in good order, the inside is a bit brown (obviously been used for the purpose it was made for), generally overall very good condition with no 'major' condition issues noted save those mentioned.
A 19th century button-back upholstered and walnut-framed sofa; foliate carved back rail above similarly carved central frieze and raised on cabriole-style front legs with French-style scrolls and castors (138cm wide x 87cm highest point at back x approx. 76cm deepest point)It is noted that that the right-hand side of the top rail to the right of the carving at the top is slightly faded probably by the sun, the button-back upholstery has some stains on it and is lighter in places. The back leg looks as though there is 6/7in split from the top running in to the leg although there is no sign of repair, no woodworm is noted, the underside is covered in a black material so the inside of the frame cannot be assessed; some scuffs and scratches to the legs etc. commensurate with age; the back of the frame looks reasonable although some scratches; some dents and scratches to the rear legs, the front legs look good; the sofa is very heavy to lift and appears sturdy, tight and together

A 1920's oak single cane bergere chair, with a green cushion seat62w x 66d x 93h cmCondition report: Overall solid and usable. The frame is original and complete. There is one hole in the cane where the seat meets the arms to one side. The colour is a dark oak typical of the period, although this has worn to a lighter colour along the top of the arms from use/age. It is dirty with light overall wear and signs of use. The seat lifts out and has no holes or damage, although is also dirty.
A 19th century Arts and Crafts pitch pine pedestal desk, with a galley back, containing nine short drawers, with chamfered angles, on a plinth base137w x 60d x 90h cmCondition report: Overall is solid and usable, but heavily worn across all sides and dirty. Drawers run ok. Handles are complete and match. It has been given a dark stain, so where it has worn, it shows a much lighter colour, so the desk looks quite scruffy. The top has quite a lot of all overall wear. It is of good quality of manufacture and is decorated on each side. No key, but locks are in place. Unrestored.
Three English dogs 1930s-60s including Deans Rag Book Co. Ltd. Childsplay corgi in crouching position with two-tone body, glass type eyes and plastic nose with stitched mouth L46cm; and two others (3) - Condition Report Deans - reasonably good condition but back depressed from being sat on. Lighter colour a little grubby.Others - basically sound but playworn and grubby. Darker one has weak legs and lighter one probably has replaced blue eyes.

A WWII Second World War period soldier's ' Prince ' cigarette lighter, c1930's / 1940's. The cigarette lighter being chrome plated, with erotic Japanese decoration to one side, and most notably has a bullet lodged firmly within its casing. The round nearly penetrating completely, but being lodged half way. Interesting display piece.

In the first photograph, the astronauts' LM Challenger can be seen just above the rock as a distant speck sitting at the right edge of the lighter area. In the second photograph, Cernan holds the 500mm lens Hasselblad in his hand while leaning on the boulder for stability in order to take telephoto photographs. The Lunar Rover is in the foreground.
