A very large Mintons jardiniere with floral decoration, printed mark to the base, approximately 36 cm (h) and 42 cm (d) and one other. [2]Condition Report: Mintons jardiniere has been restored after significant damage, all pieces are present and haven been affixed back in place, restoration is very noticeable to the lighter coloured interior.

A Ziegler Mahal carpet, the dark field decorated with an overall design of meandering foliage incorporating flowerheads and palmettes within pale madder borders and polychrome guard stripes, approximately 533 x 320cmCondition Report: Various losses to pile from moth damage - see images for extent.Wear overall.Wear reveals underlying weft in areas. Longest edges have been re-bound. They have wear, fraying and some loose threads.Pale knot heads poke through pile in places. Stitched repair to tear at one end (approx. 11cm). One end with fringing lacking. Strips of fabric have been stitched to the underside of this end to help secure.Fringing to the other end is short, and has wear, discolourations and losses. Working in pencil, pen, acrylic & enamel paint, Tommy’s projects are wide and have included his graphic novel Tate to Tate, published by Random House, which depicts ‘An illustrated walk along London’s Southbank’. Past work includes album covers, posters & international advertising campaigns within the music industry for artists Babyshambles, Röyksopp, Mercury Rev, New Order & Underworld amongst others.He has collaborated with fashion group Orlebar Brown designing four cityscapes for the OB Limited Edition. This included live art work in Paris and for London Fashion Week. Tommy was short-listed for Crossrail’s ‘Artist -in-Residence’ scheme and took part in the group show Tunnel Visions.(Please refer to department for Condition report. After much rewriting and revising, it was eventually published by Universal Edition in 1924. Grainger said of this work, ‘…I think it is one of the very richest in herzblut [heart's blood] of all my works'. Frederick Herman Martens (1874-1932) was an American music journalist and writer.
