A silver rectangular notepad holder, with engine turned decoration, detailed 835 SF, weight 207gms, a Dunhill rectangular silver plated gas lighter with engine turned decoration, a foreign silver and leather rectangular case, detailed 935, a Greek enamelled medal detailed 1917, with a case, a brass and enamel small folding icon and an imitation amber cheroot holder (6). Condition Report There is no flint to the lighter, roller bar rotates loosely. Interior a little grubby, exterior no significant dents, knocks or scratches.
A white gold cased and diamond set rectangular gas lighter, the exterior decorated with textured stripes and mounted with a border of circular cut diamonds to the hinged top, detailed to the underside 750 EM, height 6.5cm. Condition Report Lighter currently working, the diamonds to the top are eight cut stones, that look to be fairly clear, Although the underside is marked 750 EM, this is just an exterior casing and we are unable to confirm to what extent the lighter is white gold. We can simply suggest that it is cased and that the interior is base metal.
A Dunhill 9ct gold, rectangular cased gas lighter, the exterior engine turned, detailed Dunhill London, London 1964, height 6.5cm, gross weight 105gms. Condition Report The roller bar to the lighter is seized, interior corrosion to the mechanism, lighter edges showing signs of wear and a few dents, particularly to the top and the bottom of the roller bar. Lighter not currently working.
A gold, rectangular cased gas lighter, the case exterior with simulated basket woven decoration, detailed 750, height 5.7cm, gross weight 50.8gms. Condition Report Not currently working, flint striking wheel does not rotate, press button to top is sprung and presumably releases the gas flow. We have removed the top of the lighter, there is no internal gas reservoir, weight of gold lighter frame detailed 750 is 31.9 gms.
Robert Mouseman Thompson (1876-1955): An English Oak Monk's Chair, with curved back and shaped arms, each side carved with a monk's head, over three panels, the centre with a shield carved H (reputedly from the Horlicks commission), each side carved with a Yorkshire Rose, on four octagonal legs joined by a cross stretcher, with carved mouse signature, 79cm .Rips to the canvas underseat. The back left base of leg is lighter, cleaned? splash/water marks normal for fumed oak. Wear consistant with age and use.
