With service scabbard and leather sword knot. 102cm overall. *CR Significant surface rust to blade obscuring makers name to ricasso, lighter surface rust to front of guard.

An interesting collection of artifacts from the Second World War collected around the Malvern area during the Wart. Including parts from 'downed' enemy aircraft, bullet cases and other items. To include a Imco lighter 'From pilot of Do 17', an HJC lighter marked 'Pat.ang.ges.gesch'. ''Fabric from Oxford', 'From propeller of Gladiator', 'A clip of bullets from JU88 30/7/42, many with hand-written paper labels identifying the finds. In a rectangular dark stained, glass topped collectors cabinet with five long drawers with ring handles. 69cm x 34cm, 24cm high. *CR Exterior surfaces scuffed in places, drawers very slightly stiff at times.

With a 44.5cm pointed, double edged and double fullered blade finely decorated to both sides, on one with repeated decorative foliate ovals, the other with a trophy of arms beneath a soft cap, indistinctly stamped I & H SORB. The brass grip and cross piece unmarked, in brass mounted leather scabbard. This sword is similar to the French 1831 Pattern Artillery short sword but is smaller and lighter and has a finely decorated blade. 60cm overall. *CR Good condition, the blade with little rubbing allowing the decoration to be clearly seen.

Humphrey,24.5cm x 35.5cm,Framed and glazed CONDITION REPORT:The print is framed under glass and has not been removed for inspection.  The paper shows age-related darkening and the odd small stain and speckle, including a 1cm stain to the upper centre.  There are slightly lighter areas in the bottom left and right corners.  The colours are relatively bright but are likely to have faded somewhat over time.  There is a pencil inscription reading 'Wales x' to the lower right corner.

A VAST ARCHIVE OF WWII AND LATER MERCHANT NAVY EPHEMERA, uniform items and souvenir items, the uniform items include two different pairs of shoulder rank epilates, one pair of collar tabs with a button on each, the souvenir items are a trench art style lighter and a Russian peaked cap, also included is a Saltley school tie and blazer badge, the vast array of merchant Navy ephemera starts in the 1940's and goes into the late 1950's and includes a membership book in a folder, merchant Navy pension booklets, various printed and typed letters from Royal Mail Lines LTD, relating to Mr F Jennings, a Birmingham school board certificate which has faded and a photo of a gentleman in mayoral robes, several letters from the University of Southhampton school of Navigation are also present, also included is an I.D card, I.D letter and a discharge book, various letters about Mr Jennings wages and various booklets and letters about the cadets are included as well as three dinner menus from the P&O steam Navigation Company events, a 2005 newspaper from Portsmouth and a Tradalger 200th anniversary book about the anniversary of Lord Nelsons death, this is a nice archive from a Merchant Navy Seaman, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request
