An early 19th century tiger fleck oak chest of drawers with shaped top above three long drawers and raised on bracket feet, width 103cm, depth 54cm, height 97cm. CONDITION REPORT Heavy signs of use throughout. The drawer handles have been replaced at some point, leaving the hole and the marker of the previous handle. The top is heavily stainer, scuffed, scratched and faded. The plank construction of the sides of this chest have started to separate. There are further holes to the right hand side where something has previously been attached to this chest of drawers. The ebonised drawer handles are heavily rubbed and showing a lighter timer through.

Also foxing and dark edge staining to end papers. Small loss from edge of two plates. Covers with heavy corner and spine wear to morocco, light water mark towards top of cover. Cover and borders of back cover sunned. Spine bumped.
