A VICTORIAN SILVER PLATED AND ANTELOPE HORN TABLE LIGHTER in the form of a winged dragon resting its hand on a flaming grenade, the wick end modelled as an arrow emanating from the dragons mouth, by Walker & Hall, stamped to the tip of the wing, 45cm long Condition Report:No splits or cracks in the horn - the silver plate is very tarnished and needs a deep clean. There are no dents or breakages to the silver plate.

A Victorian mahogany pedestal desk, with green tooled leather writing surface and fitted with three frieze drawers with wooden knob handles and three further drawers to each pedestal and raised on castors. Height 72 cm, width 104 cm, depth 56 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The green tooled leather is a fairly recent replacement and is in generally good order. The leather surround has some old surface scratches and liquid marks particularly to the right-hand side but is flat and in generally good order. All drawers run smoothly. The bottom left-hand drawer has a stress fracture running the full width. The centre kneehole drawer has replacement knob handles, there is one missing knob handle. All drawer fronts have minor edge nibbles. The sides of the desk are in generally good condition as is the plinth base. The desk is a little pale in colour however the colour is the same all round. It is simply a lighter hue of mahogany.

Some further rubbing to the gilding around the central well of the stand as well as further lighter wear to the gilding around the rim. The red-lined rim of the dessert centre dish is also worn in areas.Lily bowl - hairline to underside of base.Floral dish- has been in at least two pieces and restored, restoration now yellowed.Fruit and wreath cup - hairline around lower terminal of handle.Green flower cup- badly cracked, stained.Prussia jug - some wear to print.
