VARIOUS OWNERS A CONTINENTAL TINDER LIGHTER, EARLY 18TH CENTURY formed entirely of steel, with box-shaped body, fitted with external mechanism on the right and a hinged trap for tinder on the left, the latter signed 'Lescos' on a serpentine scroll with a flowering terminal, and pear-shaped pommel 11.0 cm; 4 1/4 in overall Provenance Robin Wigington Collection (1932-2002)
Vintage & Designer Clothing, Accessories and Textiles - Hermes silk headscarf 'Vautrait du Roy' after Charles Hallo, two further Hermes scarves and one other (4) Condition Report Striped scarf with tassel has pulled threads and what looks like yellow dye on the blue panels. Hermes green scarf - there are a couple of small marks on the scarf and four holes which could be moth damage and some discolouring - could be sun damage. Vautrait du Roy - there is slight evidence of sun damage as there are different colours on the lighter parts of the scarf. Red - silhouettes Navales - the scarf has a lot of staining on the cream areas. There are some darker marks spread over the scarf and loose threads around the seam causing it to unravel slightly.
