Valentice, 773rd Bombardment Squardron Comprising: medals, including National Defence Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, three For Good Conduct medals, four Humane Action medal, European, African Middle Eastern Campaign medal, World War II medal, and Air medal, all in cardboard boxes, Air medal in gilt decorated leather case, Sterling silver bomber pilot wings pin badge, dog tags, lapel badges, Vulcan lighter, two albums of photographs and a quantity of printed ephemera. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear.
A diamond, emerald and black onyx necklace chain, the chain of alternating oval, circular and interlocking circular links, set throughout with a repeating pattern of ten graduating oval faceted emerald beads, twenty one small black onyx beads, twenty one brilliant cut collet set diamond highlights and eleven round cut collet set emerald highlights, on bolt ring clasp. Clasp stamped 950. Total length approx 63cm. Total weight approx 8.8gms. Condition report The emerald beads measure from approximately 6mm x 4mm to 4mm x 3mm. Well matched bottle green in colour, some slightly lighter than others, all with numerous small but visible dark inclusions. Most with small chips to the facet edges. Total weight of the diamonds approximately 0.21 carats. Estimated colour H/I Estimated clarity SI The black onyx beads well matched in colour, with good surface condition. Each bead measures approximately 1mm x 1mm Overall in good condition with only minor surface wear in keeping with general wear.
A pair of jadeite earrings, c. 1890, the jadeite plaque carved into the shape of a Geisha, enclosed in a bamboo style setting of open strands of metalwork, suspending on an articulated link from a similar bar to depict bamboo, in turn suspending on an articulated link from a jadeite bead to the bottom of a shepherd's hook fitting. Length approximately 6cm. Total weight approximately 8.9gms. Condition report The jadeits is light apple green in colour, slightly mottled with lighter white patches throughout, the Geisha in generally good condition with only minor surface scratches. The jadeite beads measures approximately 4mm x 4mm, mid to dark mottled green in colour with numerous but minor surface abrasions. The mounts with some discolouration to the metal to their reverse and particularly to the fittings.
An amber coloured bead necklace, the sixty nine graduating amber-coloured beads threaded knotted with a double sided amber screw barrel clasp. Total weight approximately 92.7gms. Length approximately 46cm. Condition report The beads are mid to dark orange in colouring with the majority of the beads with natural dark inclusions and lighter colour banding. The beads have overall very good surface condition.
