GRAZIOSA FIGURA FEMMINILE IN CORALLO CON BASE IN AVORIO Cina, dinastia Qing, XIX secolo - A GRACEFUL FEMALE FIGURE IN CORAL WITH IVORY BASE Corallo rosso intenso, leggermente più chiaro sul retro. Con entrambe le mani la divinità sta rovesciando un cesto di fiori, che, riversandosi sulla figura esile e aggraziata, si spargono ovunque. Solo sul verso s'intravede la gonna fatta di foglie, cinte in vita da un nastro di perle che pende fin sopra i piedi. I capelli sono acconciati con l'aiuto di un fermaglio a forma di fenice con un gioiello nel becco. Base in avorio intagliata di rose. 250 g Altezza 23 cm (inclusa la base) - China, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century Deep red coral, slightly lighter on the rear side. VASO CON PEONIE E BULBUL CON COPERCHIO IN CORALLO ROSSO Cina, dinastia Qing, XIX secolo - A VASE WITH PEONIES AND BULBULS WITH LID IN RED CORAL China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century In corallo rosso, con venature e chiazze più chiare. Vaso di profilo arcaico, con due cespugli di peonie che partono dalla base. Alcuni bulbul (pycnonotus sinensis) popolano i rami, uno è scolpito in tuttotondo sul coperchio. Alla base cresce una piccola pianta di ruyi. Peonie e bulbul portano onori e benessere fino alla fine della vita. Rottura netta rincollata del coperchio a forma di fenice con fiori. 319 g (inclusa la base) Altezza 21,4 cm (base incollata) - Red coral, with some lighter streaks and spots. Archaic-style vase, with two peony bushes growing up from the base. Some small bulbuls (Pycnonotus sinensis) are perched in the branches, one is carved in full-relief on the lid. At the base is growing a small ruyi plant. Peonies and bulbul bring honor and well-being to the end of life. IMPORTANTE MINAUDIÈRE IN ARGENTO, BRILLANTI E ZAFFIRI, ILLARIO PER BULGARI 1940 circa - SILVER, DIAMONDS AND SAPPHIRES MINAUDIÈRE, ILLARIO FOR BULGARI Rettangolare, guilloché, un fermaglio in oro e platino con brillanti e zaffiri sul coperchio, all’interno uno scomparto porta-sigarette, uno porta-cipria, un porta-pillole ed un porta-fazzoletti, contenente fazzolettino ricamato con l’iniziale I sotto corona chiusa, appartenuto a Irene di Grecia, consorte del duca di Spoleto. All’interno è conservato un accendino cilindrico, non pertinenete, con incisione sul fondo ‘Tim with love G. 20-7-46’. Marchiata Bulgari sul bordo interno. Completa di custodia con etichetta S. Bulgari 10, Via Condotti, Roma, con appunto a penna ‘zia Giovanna Matrimonia’. La scatola appartenne a Giovanna di Savoia, regina di Bulgaria. Danni e rotture alla custodia. 2,5 Kt circa 2 x 14,4 x 10,4 cm Giovanna era figlia del re d’Italia Vittorio Emanuele III e della regina Elena e sorella del re Umberto II. Il 25 ottobre 1930 sposò lo Zar Boris III di Bulgaria ed ebbe due figli, Maria Luisa e Simeone, che, bambino, sotto il nome di Simeone II fu l’ultimo Zar di Bulgaria, sotto un consiglio di reggenza, fino alla proclamazione della repubblica sovietica nel 1946. - About 1940 Rectangular, guilloché, platinum and gold, diamond and sapphires clasp on cover. Bulgari 10, Via Condotti, Roma, with note ‘zia Giovanna Matrimonia’. The box belonged to S. M. Giovanna of Savoy, queen of Bulgary. Case damaged. 2,5 about Kt 0.79 x 5.67 x 4 in.
